GENEROSITY OVERFLOW RETREAT

A Free Virtual Retreat for Your Church…

FMCIC has parterned with GENEROUSCHURCH in order to offer the Generosity Leadership Retreat which has been adapted as a virtual online retreat for you and your church leaders – for free!

The Online Overflow Experience is a casual, interactive retreat experience based around real-life stories and Scripture. The schedule is short and simple – no lectures, break-outs or brainstorming sessions.  The two zoom sessions have lots of short videos, and discussions and is a great opportunity to help us reset our thinking about what true generosity means.

Although the retreat is brief, participants frequently comment on how spiritually significant they found the experience. Sandy Crozier from FMCIC will  facilitate your Overflow Experience, but we can also train you as a facilitator to run additional Overflow Experience Retreats.

This virtual retreat is free for our FMC churches. There are no books to buy. But the opportunity to  discover what a joyous generous overflowing life could look like – is priceless.

It’s Designed with Leaders in Mind

Because generosity starts with leaders, we encourage you to invite pastors, staff, board members, ministry leaders and spouses to attend.  All they need to do is grab a cup of coffee/tea, pen and paper and from the comfort of their own home, join online.

Any time. Any church.

What Leaders are Saying about the Overflow Experience

“The Overflow Experience was extremely positive for our leaders. As promised, our leaders laughed, cried and shared together, and their hearts were burdened, broken and determined to live a life of whole-life generosity.”

 – Brian Burkholder, Senior Pastor, Hollywood Community Church

“I have never been in a meeting, even in this church with people who have known each other for decades, where people became so real and transparent with each other as they did during this time.”

      – Rodney Schell, Executive Pastor, Park Cities Baptist

“I’ve heard nothing but great comments about how much our leaders enjoyed the weekend. They loved this approach to talking about generosity.”

      – Brian Banke, Lead Pastor, Our Savior Lutheran Church
