¶630.2.8.4 Other Ethical Dilemmas

These biblical principles, which guide our approach to bioethics will need to be applied on an
ongoing basis to other ethical dilemmas rising from advances in medical technology. Such ethical dilemmas may include but not be limited to: the allocation of finite resources, organ
transplantation, genetic engineering and testing, and gender identity issues.

As we attend to human suffering, we acknowledge that the ability of medical technology to end human suffering is limited. Therefore, we accept our responsibility to use this technology with wisdom and compassion; honouring God, who is ultimately supreme.
