2.4 Study Commission on Doctrine
The general conference shall elect a study commission on doctrine made up of nine members consisting of both lay and ministerial members. The commission shall provide a forum for the debate and discussion of issues related to doctrine, membership and ritual and serve as the editorial board for The Manual of The Free Methodist Church in Canada. It may also undertake additional duties as assigned by the board of administration. The commission shall report to the general conference and to the board of administration in the interim between general conference sessions.
