Peacefully at Parkwood Institute on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Marie for 60 years. Loving father of Weldon B. Johnston (Kathy), Cheryl Hargraves (Steve), Creg Johnston and Tammy Fink. Cherished grandfather of Brent, Sarah, Warren, Corissa, Michael and Alex. Dear brother of Paul (Betty) and David (Ann). Predeceased by his parents, John and Lillas, his brother Creighton (Anna) and his grandson Corey. He was Ordained Deacon: 1965, Ordained Elder: 1967 and ministry service included Chaplain w/Corrections Services Canada, pastor at Enterprise FMC and General Evangelist (continued to do prison chaplaincy w/CSC) until he retired in May/05.
