Morna Hammond left this earthly realm to enter the presence of God in December 2022, at age 89. She was the mother of four children and wife for 50 years of Rev Gordon Hammond who predeceased her in 2008. She will be remembered for her faithfulness and her kindness to the many who entered her home. Her strong Christian faith was foundational to her life, including as a kindergarten teacher, and her ministry. At an early age she sang harmonies with her family and had a life-long love of music, especially gospel hymns.
