Help Haiti Heal (Canada)

Haiti . . . how can I help?
You will find below some ways in which you can assist the relief effort in Haiti through The Free Methodist Church in Canada.

About giving financially

THE BISHOP’S RELIEF FUND
Temporary shelters, Restoration of repairable buildings, & Medium/long-term rebuilding – needs in the weeks and months to come! The Bishop’s Relief Fund is our Free Methodist Church in Canada’s vehicle for Haiti recovery and rebuilding. Click here to donate online.

INTERNATIONAL CHILD CARE MINISTRIES – if you are a sponsor of a child in Haiti, you may want to direct your donations in this area.

Remittance of funds: Because the FMCiC does not have a bank account specifically for the Bishop’s Relief Fund, the Department of Administrative Services has asked that you advise your treasurers to make cheques payable to “The Free Methodist Church in Canada” – not to the Bishop’s Relief Fund. (On the cheque memo line write Bishop’s Relief Fund – Haiti so that it is clear where these funds are to go.)
