How to Send CORE Ministry Giving
We are encouraging all churches to send in their giving remittance via e-transfer. This eliminates postal disruptions, lost mail and delays in receiving your transfer of funds.
Please note:
Donations to any affiliated ministries (TearFund, WMI, EFC, etc.) should be sent directly to that ministry.
1. Please transfer the funds using the email address churches@fmcic.ca – no password needed.
2. Then please attach the completed Church Remittance Form to an email to finance@fmcic.ca
For more information on how to send funds using e-Transfer, visit this page: fmcic.ca/e-transfer
NOTE: It is best practice for churches to require 2-signatures on cheques. (Please do not open an account with only one signature just for e-transfer.). We are suggesting the following workaround in order to send in your church giving through e-transfer and maintain the 2-signature compliance:
Create a simple Payment Requisition Form in WORD which provides the necessary details and have the 2 required signatures sign this form. Once signed, you can use this form to authorize and send the e-transfer. Keep the Payment Requisition Form as your backup documentation for any audit.
Sending Funds to FMCIC by mail
