We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! FPU classes meet for around an hour and a half each week for nine weeks. Register for On-line course at: http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu?ictid=lm1.chu.fpu.home (NOTE: This is very ‘american’ in both presentation and budget forms – but works well with A-Type Driven personalities and those motivated to act on eliminated debt) |

Hope for Today, Freedom for Tomorrow! Our mission is to empower you to effectively manage financial resources through teaching, coaching, planning and accountability thus maximizing the purpose for which you were created. Once you know where you are going, your financial fitness coach will walk along side you, step by step, providing encouragement, planning, strategies, guidance and course correction as needed.Together you will establish a framework for financial fitness, for LIFE! “The one fundamental revelation, right at the onset of the journey, was that we needed to stop tracking our spending “after the fact” and instead, direct our money to where we wanted it to be spent. In other words, saving and spending were to become intentional actions instead of reactionary or impulsive…. It is here that I must testify that transformational results have been exponential and thus impossible to record. What I can say is that after 2-1/2 years of intentional saving and spending, I have come to enjoy the realm of finances.” – Jack & Cristina, Ontario Fee Based Services Include:

The Freedom Initiative is a ministry of ADVISORS with Purpose, that is developing and supporting a national network of local churches and community organizations empowered and trained to see people and families in their communities set free from the burden of debt. By joining the Freedom Initiative, a local church body or organization will be assisted to set up a Debt Freedom centre to provide free face to face debt advice to anyone in their community in need. Debt Freedom Centres will be operated by local Christian communities and are flexible in their approach and service, reflecting the communities they serve, small or large, providing practical help and ongoing support towards debt free living. If you are passionate about the church being the church and doing the work of the church, contact us for information on how you can support this vision and donate to the ministry. |

Serving the Poor, Saving The Lost Christians Against Poverty (CAP), which is helping thousands of people out of personal debt in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, recently launched in Canada. CAP opened their Canadian office in March 2013 in response to numerous Canadian church leaders who have seen the need for debt counselling in their cities. Since launching, we have partnered with over 90 churches to bring our financial education and debt counselling to local communities. ‘Christians Against Poverty does a brilliant job of coming alongside us as a church to help both people in our church and people in our community develop workable budgets and address long accumulated debt. This is a ministry that knows how to help in this most important area. They do so with humility and skill. I recommend them to any church that wants to address some of the real pressures of living in the 21st Century.’ Need help with your debt?
