Rev. Ronald Hobden peacefully passed away in December 2023, age 83. His funeral was in Warman, Saskatchewan. He was a devoted husband to Elaine, his wife of 65 years, also an ordained minister. Ronald was a dedicated father to seven children who remember him as a risk-taker, adventurer, dreamer and man of faith. His influence and love will continue to resonate in the communities where he pastored — White River and Kenora, Ontario, Nelson House and Roblin, Manitoba, Hazelton and Golden, BC and Wainwright, Alberta. Ronald and Elaine served two periods as well in churches in Japan for a total of 8 years. His was a life well-lived and a heart well-loved.
