Helen Bernice Faulk, was 100 years old when she passed away December 31, 2019 after a gradual decline in health in recent years. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Pastor Albert Smith, son Lloyd Smith, one great granddaughter, Nina Hsiung, brothers Malcom and Bruce Dawson and sister Violet Grant. She is survived by a daughter, E. Gael Lohnes, son-in-law, Rev. Keith Lohnes, two granddaughters, Ruth (Steven) Juhlin and Marie (Steven) Hsiung, and five great grandchildren, Rachel, Anna, Matthew Juhlin, Sarah, and Serena Hsiung)

With her husband, Pastor Albert Smith, she worked in church ministries in the Standard Church and Free Methodist Church, serving congregations in Quebec and Ontario. In later years she continued to serve in lay ministry at Napanee with pastoral visitation for the Free Methodist Church and leading seniors’ hymn sings. After her first husband died she was married to Albert Faulk of Denbigh, Ontario who pre-deceased her.

Her faithful Christian life and demonstration of love and compassion blessed the lives of many. She was truly a trusted servant of the Lord.
