Cherished husband of Lois for 63 years, loving father to Kathleen (Rocco) Volpe, Gregory (Lana), Rev. Jennifer, and Nancy (Robert) Donner. Loving grandfather to Angelo (Tina), Christopher (Joybeth), Sandra (Dave), Carla (Jayson), Courtney (Ben), Victoria, Derrick (Sarah), Aaron (Ciara), Greg (April), Jessica, Jenna and Joel, and great grandfather to Savanna, Chloe, Olivia, Evelyn, Jack, Sam, Stephen, Charlie, George, Sophie and Autumn. Gerald was ordained a Deacon in 1985 and an Elder in 1988. He served as Pastor at the Smiths Falls Free Methodist Church, and at Madoc Free Methodist Church before retiring. He also served as an Assistant District Superintendent for the FMCiC.
