Is There Anything More Contagious Than Hope?

New Hope Methodist Church is partnering with Kingsview Free Methodist church in the adoption of Jaibon Boy’s Orphanage in Dominican Republic.  On Saturday, September 29th, New Hope will be hosting an event to raise funds to send a team to the Dominican Republic, and to aid in the building of facilities at the orphanage. With a poor restroom area, and minimal kitchen area, the funds raised during this evening will be helping this orphanage care for their children.

With twenty-four boys currently in the care of Jaibon the work of New Hope and Kingsview is not just rebuilding facilities, but giving hope to these children and integrating them into the community. While the team is over in the Dominican Republic, they will also be encouraging the community to help in the rebuilding process; this will allow them to take pride and ownership in the future of the boys in the Jaibon Boy’s Orphanage. This partnership does not simply provide a roof over the boys’ heads, but also gives these young boys an education, clothing and food.  This partnership also seeks to give each child a little more hope and light in their lives.

New Hope Methodist Church’s fundraiser night will include a silent action and a showing of the movie “I Can Only Imagine.” The silent auction donations are from local businesses and include restaurant and shopping mall gift certificates, golf gift certificates, golf bags, a golf cart, gift baskets, Toronto Zoo passes and many more items.

With a donation admission of $10, New Hope Methodist Church would like to invite anyone and everyone from the surrounding community to their fundraiser night of hope.  Saturday, September 29th at New Hope Methodist Church: 337 Queens Street, Newmarket. The movie and silent auction will run from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.
