Well, this brings our Encounter Cambodia trip to an end. We have learned more about Cambodian culture and history, seen how God is at work through our brothers and sisters, experienced love and compassion in a unique way, laughed way too much, and heard God-transforming stories. What makes a great Encounter trip? An incredible team – arkoun (thank you) to Superintendent Daniel Sar, NC Phearak Nak Philip, Sokan SereyBoth, Phanna Peter, who helped us all feel welcome and loved from the day we arrived!! We are grateful for your humility, warmth and servant hearts!
I also appreciate Hollie Palmer, Suzy Barr, Kate Todd, and Vilena Palmer for stepping out of their comfort zones, enduring the 40+ heat, and using their gifts to show God’s love to hundreds of children and adults! Yes, it is difficult to say goodbye, but our shared memories will last a lifetime!!
