E-Transfer Funds
As the Canada Post strike continues, we are asking all churches to send in CORE Giving via E-Transfer. This has turned out to be a very efficient, simple and safe way to send funds to the FMCIC. It also helps us streamline our processes to better steward all
donations from our churches (Thank you to all our churches that have already switched to E-Transfer!)
For those churches who have not switched to E-Transfer, we have included the instructions below, but if you have any questions or difficulties, please reach out to us at support@fmcic.ca. As you send your e-Transfer, please indicate in the memo section of the e-transfer any designations. If you need more room (multiple designations, loans, invoices, course payments, etc), please
complete a Remittance Form and email it to finance@fmcic.ca as soon as you send the e-transfer. The Remittance Form can be found on-line at https://fmcic.ca/remittance-form.
How to send Funds to FMCIC by e-Transfer
You can send CORE Ministry Funds to FMCIC via e-transfer by following the steps below:
- Select Create Interac e-Transfer from the account transfer/payment menu tab of your bank’s website.
- Choose the account to transfer money from, the recipient email churches@fmcic.ca, and enter the amount.
- The first time you send your FMCIC Ministry Funds via e-transfer, you will need to add Free Methodist Church in Canada as a new e-transfer recipient using this email address: churches@fmcic.ca.
- Please note that FMCIC has Auto Deposit setup and thus, no security questions or passwords are necessary.
- Enter your contact information in the memo field, and then complete/send the e-Transfer.
- IMPORTANT – Please include in the memo field any designations. If there are multiple designations, please email the Remittance Form with the breakdown of your FMCIC Ministry Funds to finance@fmcic.ca.
