In 2026, a team from across The Free Methodist Church in Canada will be travelling to Peru to take part in the JUMELI Conference—a vibrant gathering that equips, inspires, and strengthens young people. This is an incredible opportunity for us to learn with our brothers and sisters in Peru, have a transformative encounter with God to reach this generation for Christ.
We are inviting our churches to join us in three meaningful ways:

1. PRAY
Please pray for the Free Methodist Church in Peru, for the JUEMELI organizers, and for those from Canada who will be preparing to go. Pray that this conference will bear lasting fruit for God’s Kingdom. Pray also for discernment as individuals and churches consider their involvement.

2. PARTICIPATE
We would love to see representation from all across Canada! If God may be nudging you, your pastor, or someone in your congregation to attend, we encourage you to explore this possibility soon.

Cost: $2400 (Approximate and subject to change)
Breakdown of costs

• Flight to Peru from Toronto $1200 (approximate)
• Registration for JUMELI youth summit = $350
• Missions trip to either Lima ($560), Iquitos or Cuzco ($700) from Easter Monday to Wednesday (Flights, transportation, food and accommodations included. This will allow participants to interact with our FM ministry in Peru by doing prayer walks in the church community and working with kids and youth.

Important: JUMELI’s registration deadline is December 31, 2025, so those considering participation should begin the process now.

3. GIVE
Not everyone can go—but everyone can help send someone.

If your church is not able to send participants, would you prayerfully consider sponsoring someone else who feels called but may not have the financial means? A gift from your congregation could make it possible for a young leader, pastor, or mission-minded member to take part in this formative experience.

Because the conference registration deadline falls on December 31, 2025, any churches considering financial support are encouraged to give before year-end. Your generosity will directly impact how many can attend.
