Christmas can be an overwhelming time for many of us. Stress, grief, financial burdens and busyness can take our attention and hearts off the true meaning of the season, the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Advent season invites us to slow down and wait in anticipation of Jesus’ first coming. 

Pastors and leaders from across the FMCIC have come together to create this year’s video series. Each Sunday of Advent focuses on a different candle theme; hope, peace, joy and love ending with the Christ Candle on Christmas Eve. Devotionals are under 5 minutes and can be streamed online or downloaded to your device for playing offline. In addition to personal and family use these devotionals are wonderful for church services and bible studies.
