Day 29 (May 3, 2020)
Praise – That many Christians are experiencing a noticeable sense of peace in the midst of this pandemic.
Prayer – That as Christians exhibit the fruit of the Spirit at this time, there will be opportunities to share with others where those qualities come from (1 Pe. 3:15)
Day 30 (May 4, 2020)
Praise – That over 30 churches have participated in our 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting, there are reports of people hearing from the Lord at this time and we had our best attendance at our monthly, national prayer meeting.
Prayer – That other churches would take up the task of 24-hour prayer during this season so that the rest of the days will be covered and that these days will be a kickstart to us praying more deeply, concertedly, and more persistently which will lead to a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit upon us (Joel 2:15-17).
Day 31 (May 5, 2020)
Praise –
Prayer – For the great difficulties the FM churches are experiencing in Ghana, Sri Lanka and India as the price of food and other essentials is skyrocketing and at the same time they are limited in getting together to encourage and help each other (Jm. 2:15-16).
Day 32 (May 6, 2020)
Praise –That there are new opportunities to share the Good News with people as they feel their needs and vulnerabilities.
Prayer – For our church plants and start-ups that are struggling during this time (Col. 4:2-6).
Day 33 (May 7, 2020)
Praise – That God has promised that all things work together for good for those who love Him (Rom. 8:38).
Prayer – For those in our churches that have lost their jobs (eg. Pastor Norman Doucette’s wife), or their small business is struggling to continue. That they will have confidence that the Lord will take care of them and we will be response to His promptings in our lives to help them (Matt. 6:33).
Day 34 (May 8, 2020)
Praise – That God has promised that we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us and gave Himself for us (Rm. 8:37).
Prayer – That our pastors will be strengthened and refreshed as they lead through these challenging times and at the same time their prayer lives will deepen as they lead their congregation to become houses of prayer.
Day 35 (May 9, 2020)
Praise – That God is helping the National Prayer Team to grow in its ability to encourage, resource and facilitate our movement so that it finds joy in prayer as it become a house of prayer for all nations (Is. 56:7).
Prayer – That our Prayer Summit, being held May 14, will be well attended, run smoothly and be used by the Lord to teach us to pray (Eph. 6:18).
